Yeah i'm pretty pissed off. What a horrid thing for them to do.

After they pretty clearly stated that they would be ignoring anyone complaining about the NC mall, they put this in there:

I suppose you could see it as funny, I just see it as arrogant personally.

"Show your dislike for NC by giving us $50! *gigglesnort*"

I'm over my avid hatred for NC, but this is just too far kids. Seriously.

As an actual wearable, it looks quite good - it flaps occasionally, and is actually legible. And given that it's $50, it's quite clear it's a tongue-in-cheek thing people aren't actually meant to buy (the title of the section being "Items No One Would Ever Want To Buy, Seriously" is also a subtle hint).

I wouldn't mind a pro-NC flag, since the mall is still not the first thing I think of when I see the acronym

Well, this topic confused the heck out of me for a little while. I'm on top of things now, though. ;P

If I were still playing Neopets actively, I'd gather up a bunch of the "I Heart NC Flag" items as possible. ^_~

Yes, when I see NC, the first thing I think of is hardly NeoCash. Honestly, I could care less about the Neopets Mall. NC = Us. So reading a topic that says "Down With NC" instantly brought me back to Jazzy's april fool's joke e_e

Actually, I've never thought of it as being "Neocolours Community", just an abbreviated form of Neocolours.

Ah, sometimes I call it "The NC", isn't that the LJ name too? "The Neocolours" sounds a bit weird, which is why I assumed the C was for community.

Anyway, about the sign, I think it's quite a funny item, but it does seem quite tongue-in-cheek towards the people who really don't like NeoCash.

They should've chosen another name for their money making scheme so it doesn't get easily confused with neocolours when abbreviated.
