Advent Calendar
Re: Advent Calendar
But I'm not sure putting out the best stuff on Christmas day is actually a good idea... at least, some people won't want to be going online to collect AC stuff. I suppose they have a better idea of how many people visit the AC on the 25th compared to other days. I agree today's stuff was kind of meh, like they were rather running out of ideas. I thought we'd be getting earmuffs like the ones on the lupe in the animation.
Yesterday (I think) I hoped we might be getting another bell item, since there was a hissi ringing a bell in the animation. We didn't, but they did release handbell music as an item in the news. I don't think it's actually released of course, but I hope it does get released eventually because I want it.

26th Day of Celebrating.
Oh, and as for why yesterday's prizes bothered me: A codestone was really unexpected (not to mention absolutely unrelated to the animation). I was really hoping for some shiny bell, a card, or something.
Not to say that I hated the prize, it's just that...why?

personally i'm waiting/hoping for a new petpet. The calendar has been a bit underwhelming to me this year.

I personally love the hair bow, but I seem to have a thing for hair bows in general, haha!

Re: Advent Calendar
I like the animation, but the items themselves aren't my favourites. I don't really get how a lump of cake is called 'slingshot' instead of ammunition or something <_<
Re: Advent Calendar
I quite liked today's animation, but I don't understand why there were two hits of the fruit cake at the end. Bizarre.

It's already happened in the form of Christmas Soot...covet wrote:personally i'm waiting/hoping for a new petpet. The calendar has been a bit underwhelming to me this year.
Faster than a speeding cheeseburger, but not by much.

Re: Advent Calendar
Grrrr. I completely missed the Advent Calendar yesterday. >> Which will make this the third year in a row I won't get the stupid sidebar, which is the only one I'm missing. *mopes* I really hope it is random and collecting every day isn't a requirement.
Spiraled, I think Captain Rourke is supposed to be this hard, mean guy, and it takes him a bit, but having him laugh at a present of a turtle neck is unexpected. At least, that's how I understood it.

Meh, I wish it was based on something like...everybody gets one xD
Ooh. Well that makes sense! I assumed it was just about a random guy waiting on the dock for a deal or something of the sort and this xweetok randomly gives him a blue sweater... 0_0
Re: Advent Calendar
on a high note i think i actually might just GET the winter sidebar this year! I would always miss the same 1 day every year because of a religious retreat..but this year it was canceled so i still have a shot! lol...let's just hope i filled all of the other mysterious unknown requirements XD

Re: Advent Calendar
I can see Rox and Lily in today's animation more than Rourke & Lily. Maybe he would buy some suggestive mistletoe for her, and she just takes it off to study it's pine formation, completely ignoring him again....
That would've made up for the last 20 days of dumb animations.

Re: Advent Calendar
I really liked today's gifts. A nice looking wearable and a book, both useful and appreciated.
