Strange new pet color?

Well, this is a caption contest, and they're never the best-drawn things on the site. I don't think the real pet artists draw them. The blumaroo and poogle in this one are too shiny, too.

It's way too early to decide whether or not a new "woodland" color would look nice. It's too early to assume there will be a new color at all, for that matter.

Eh, they're still overly shaded and the pets are more cartoony than their "real" versions. Besides, the quality of any given caption contest pic compared to the rest is irrelevant -- none of them stand up to lookup art. I still don't think you can judge a potential new color based on a caption contest, which is the point I was making.

I see the blue Wocky. Which sucks, cause this is actually really pretty Looks like a well polished totem, which is fine in my books. I do hope it's a new color, as we need one and this is as good as any!

Actually, the Lutari themed pets weren't ever wooden, they are all brightly colored with clashing paint splotches:



The wood here is just decoratively carved.

Hello, I said on page 1 that I saw only a basic blue wocky. I'm on another computer now, and I see that wooden wocky you were all talking about . Yep, that's strange ^^

Ooh! Looks exciting, some sort of 'forest' colour has always been one of my most wanted colours and I think Misticpets is the only petsite with something similar and I never play it.

The somewhat short-lived site Chizopets had a "forest" color, which I initially created for them. The site died but you can still see the color here. That said, I'm kind of partial to the idea.

It's not quite as plant-y as I was hoping it'd be (then again, you can't see its whole body) but it's rather cute anyway!
