I decided to try out IE8, and though it has a few new little features, it's not (so far) very impressive. I don't know if the "new security" is really all THAT much better. It CLAIMS to be faster, but it's really not. It's pretty chunky actually, and sites that aren't supported completely by it make it that little bit more frustrating.
Of those, two minor annoyances with Neopets:
Buried Treasure is problematic - as in, I can't play it unless I click a link to/plug in specific coordinates. Clicking the map brings up a constant "Oops!" error.
The toolbar: Tarla's alert is ALWAYS flashing. If you click it, it goes to a page saying she's already gone (as in, flashing long after she's gone), and it stops flashing for a minute or two then starts back up again. Obviously the programmers didn't bother making the toolbar any more advanced than IE6 or several versions back of Firefox.
