Mutant Acara

By the artist that did the Mutant Eyrie, Mutant Peophin, and Mutant Pteri. Now comes the Mutant Acara (or would if she still worked for Neopets):

She posted it publicly, plus it's pretty easy to find on dA, so I think it's all right to link to it. (Although she's welcome to tell me/us to take it down, of course.)

I love it. Love the tentacles, and the cthulhu/zoidberg mouth bits, and the colors overall, soooo much love for the colors. Classic.

Aww, now that's a good Mutant! It's simple, but it works! It's actually pretty cute. =3

See, that's a real Mutant! It's coherent, it's authentic, it's in the tradition of Mutants without being a copy of any other the existing ones.

Sigh....

Those triple layer ears are made of all kinds of win. The eyes are kinda spooky tho, which isn't to say that's a bad thing on a mutant.
