Resizing question

Post by Nogitsune »

Hi all. I'd like to try and draw some neopets rather than simply cut and paste them as I do. BUT I'm not sure how to get them to resize to the standard 150 x 150 without loosing quality. Help would be greatly appreciated.

You should be able to resize them without loosing too much quality as long as you make sure the image you're using is perfectly square, and find a nice program to do your resizing in.

Xnview (good free program, and the resizing is similar to Paint Shop Pro) or some other image browser will have cropping and resizing tools.

I don't like MSPaint's resizing, I think it usually turned out sloppy when I tried to do anything like that with it. I just copy my image from Paint or PSP, etc. and paste it into Xnview so I can use it instead.

Thanks :D Unfortunately when I tried to download Xnview I got an error message about corrupted files... Ah well I'll just use Paint Shop Pro now that I know about the square thing...
