One thing you might want to do is add the lighter colored muzzle the brown Peo has
I think the water looks nice and fits in well with the rest of the image...

Hmm...

Try making the mane go to the approximate length of the shoulders- even though your picture has a chibi feel to it, there's just something that bothers me about the mane eo;

And with the muzzle colour, do the same on the legs- just a light screening filter should work.

The near hoof also looks a bit long- try cropping it a bit so it's not the length of the feathering.

Other than that, I adore his/her expression- looks HAPPY. xDD.

I feel like the neck should be tad longer, unless your going for a chibi look. Water is also transparent, so I think that would help in the recolouring.
