GIMP help, please?

Well, I installed GIMP. Love it to death and all, and I was working on a picture last night, saved it as GIMP's file types, and then opened it back up just now.


....where did the layer screen go? o___o;;;

Seriously, now. I mean, that window that shows your layers and all? GONE! Poofed into the air!

Can anyone help me figure out how to open it back up...?

I'm looking right now in 2.2, but I've yet to figure out how to use layers since all the tutorials I've found are for photoshop or the like.

Ahh, there it is. You need to go to the Dialogs option in the top menu of the file you're working on and choose Layers or just type ctrl+L.
