Problem drawing with mouse
My same old optic mouse on a new computer is suddenly much more difficult to draw precise curves with. It wants to conform to straight lines, especially if I'm trying to draw slowly and carefully.
Is there ANYTHING you can do about this?

xlrv- yes, you can buy drawing tablets for the computer, and they're really not ridiculous for people who are into digital art. I've been using them for years now. Pressure sensitivity is awesomely helpful. (I just got a bigger one last night as a birthday present, even. My old 4 x 5 " one was acting a bit unhappy on account of a short in the cable. 6x8" suddenly looks HUGE. o_O) Wacom.com's page on Graphire tablets, their low-end range, is at http://www.wacom.com/graphire/index.cfm if you're curious.
As far as the mousee goes, Scythe... have you set anything like "curve tracking" in the program you're using? If the number's too high, it might be flattening out your curves. Can't really think of any other reason for it to be doing that (unless it's the mouse itself not moving nicely, in which case you should probably see if the bottom needs to be cleaned. XD )
