Neocolours

First time posting a topic on this forum so lets hope I get this right XD

Basically since I was bored I took the redline I did for the new proposed malticorn and tried to redraw the same
pose and recreate what I think the new malticorn could look like, since I wasn't 100% happy with the suggested
new look ^^U My lineart is rather shakey and I tried to make it as sharp as I could, I might
have shaded it a bit too much but i'll let you guys be the judge of that. If for whatever reason
the original artist for the new revamp wants me to take this down, I can since the pose and
such aren't mine. o:

If I ever get time in the future i'll try and post some actual original subeta stuff.

Now that is perfect. It balances the puppy/unicorn mix perfectly.

Maybe its just me, and its probably not that important, it looks kind of dithery a bit at the butt.

I LOVE the colouring, it does not look plastic and shiny, it looks fluffysilky.

Hmm I think I see what you mean there, I probably rushed the shading a tad on the tail area,
not a huge deal I suppose but I can maybe go back and fix it if I get time ^^

I'll probably finish it sometime soon but I wanted to see what you guys think so far ^^U
Kinda just combine both poses and my own facial expression from the previous suggested
revamps, i think it looks kinda cute? XD the anatomy is probably a bit janky but hopefully
I can fix that lol. Honestly this was a boredom sketch so a lot of stuff is most likely
off but if I decide to finish it I'll most definitely go back and tweak the weird proportions lol.

This one is PERFECT. Yay for less puppy-look. The Malticorn looks... so shiny! @_@

I love your lineart too! It somehow seems a bit different from the others - yet a nice way.

Yep, the anatomy's a bit odd. Try making the the body a bit larger, perhaps? And don't forget to show off its big, shiny, feathery tail!
Unfortunately I'm always not keen on round headed birds, like the Lain...

I actually did like the newly suggested revamp too, of course with a few tweaks
I think it'll be a great revamp, but I see what you mean, i'll try to fix the body and tweak
the head a tad c: I think maybe i'll try the bird legs on the front and see if that looks
any better c:

I think my biggest problem is that it looks a little chubby. On the other hand, the front legs look a little skinny, though that might be helped if the body itself is skinny.

The wings are quite nice though, they look real enough without being too over-realistic for subeta art.

I think I see what you mean the chubby-ness, might be cause the from legs are too small, i'll see what

Been so busy lately but was up all night last night in the computer lab and decided to randomly
make this since I liked the old Malticorn a bit better then the new one O: Took some ideas from the
newer one though with the tail and stiching parts so hope you guys like it c:

Eh? Why? Zombies have access to hairstyling products, too.

I think the lines are a little thick in places, and I'm still not keen on the tail as an idea (I don't like the tail on the revamped GY malticorn), but overall, it looks great! I really love those colors and that grin. Your version is nice.

Thanks for the crits guys c: yeah I see what you mean on the lineart, probably should have spent a bit more time cleaning it up but glad you like it overall ^^ I personally liked the tail idea but it would also look nice just being fluffy like the rest of tail I suppose. Might go back and try it that way too if I have the time and clean up the lineart more.
