Faerie Buzz question.

Does anyone here owns a Faerie Buzz?

I saw someone's FEMALE Faerie Buzz on the Neoboards, and her Buzz has the Faerie Wings. I have a MALE Faerie Buzz, and mine doesn't.

Am I the only one with the ugly winged Faerie Buzz?

Or really, female have the fancy wings (Check AmourdeWilfred) and male looks lame?

It's not just your male Buzz. Twofold Black has a Faerie Buzz that is a male and he has the crappy wings. That seems a bit harsh, in my opinion. Maybe you could fill in a bug report, but I guess it's meant to be this way.

In the animal reign, most of the time (There are several exceptions, starting with bees and co.), the male is usually more colorful than the female, especially during the mating season.


If it's done on purpose, it seems illogical.

I think it's probably not intentional- I noticed it and pointed it out a while ago.

It doesn't make a lot of sense to have the male and female versions so fundamentally different, so I'm guessing it was just an error when they made the different versions- if you watch the flash things loading you can see that each pet looks like it's "compiled" from bits of body parts, presumably to get the layering correct. And for the male faerie buzz, they got the wrong wings.

So, that's 1 more pet I'm keeping, if they fix the wings, of course.

Oh, I didn't know females kept their pretty wings. It does sound like male ones getting standard Buzz wings is a mistake. That makes me feel a little less hostile to all things Neopets, though one of the major draws of the faerie Buzz for me was always that its actual <i>skeletal anatomy</i> is clearly significantly different from the standard Buzz's, and that of course is gone now.

An update on the matter, feel free to lock it if you feel like it.

Male Faerie Buzzes should have their fancy wings back.

And that makes the faerie Buzz...honestly, the only one WHOAAWESOME Faerie pet...who still strikes me as WHOAAWESOME.

Amazing what a pair of wings can do.
