Overly tenacious threads?

So I know some people were having problems with the forum marking itself as read...

I'm having the opposite problem -- some threads are not marking as read NO MATTER WHAT -- including marking the whole board as read. Other threads are fine.

This is annoying the Hell out of me. Any ideas as to what's causing this? Is this happening to anyone else?

EDIT: ironically enough, this one is included -- so far I'm the only person to have posted on it, but it keeps insisting that *I* haven't read it.

I've had problems like that with other forums, but never this one. The only thing I can suggest is clearing cookies...

*nods* The forum we were at before this one did that to me *constantly.* I used to want to scream at it. But so far this one hasn't. *knocks wood*

You're not the only one- it's happening to me too, and it's incredibly irritating.
