I would just like to point out that mods are not somehow separated from the rest of the community. I cannot speak for others (for the very same reason!) but I am a regular member of this community and rather surprisingly found myself in a position where I get to PM people help and advice, discuss and attempt to solve problems on the board, and best of all get to spend each day getting rid of at least two or three charming posts full of links to explicit porn.

I make mistakes, I don't pay attention sometimes when there are (understandably) more important things going on in my life, or I just fail to think something through to it's conclusion from everyones point of view. When an issue comes up, such as this, I will speak my mind - there is no line to tow so to speak.

People were upset about something, a discussion was had, and a poll was opened so we could all have our say on the matter. That I feel is what Neocolours is all about because believe me, sometimes things will happen that others will feel were not handled properly. All we can do is have a look at it as a community and do our best to fix it for all concerned.

Any further opinions on the matter are of course welcome, but remember that poll that is up which is welcoming all members to share their opinions for how this will now be handled.

And if there is backbiting in the chats and so on I am incredibly disappointed with those who have taken part. This thread is here, other members are sharing their opinions publicly. There is no reason at all to be sniping in the shadows.

I recall someone using 'IIRC' in this topic and I have been a user of the internet for 6 six years and until today I found out what it meant after 'googling' it. I did, however know what lol is, but english is my first language and so I should, I didn't know what IIRC was though.

I know it's a pointless comment, but I have seen it used and not known what it had meant.
