Why is the blumaroo sad? And why does a reptile have a five o'clock shadow?

Teehee, I love Borovan Day xD I'm just glad the Asparagus Chia gag didn't end up becoming tradition.. the art on this one was freaky as heck, though o_o;.

The prizes were nice. The artwork was a little odd the Asparagus Chia looked really weird but did anyone notice the little baby Usul that was being held?

I did! It seemed sort of religious to me, but I don't have a normal mind, so whatever x'D.

Heh, I was just impressed that the Usul had a Usul baby and not a Draik or some other such nonsense.
I think this may have been one of my favorite comics/animations/whatever to date actually.

Wanna donate towards my drink gallery, the Golden Goblet.

Re: Advent Calendar Y11!
The only thing that stood out to me is that they were drinking from kegs... Are coffee like drinks ever served in such containers? I suppose ciders might, and those are non-alcoholic generally, but I can't think of kegs like that used for anything but beer and wine.
The animation coupled with the Rags to Asparagus item made me think of a large, poor family. And nothing adds to discontent like a baby. Although, the fuzzy ball on the baby's hat would've canceled out any religious connotation for me anyway.
Seerow, it probably isn't her baby then.

Yay for the Usul mom and the baby! Cuteness. I suppose it could look religious because of the mother/child thing, and the infamous baby Jesus swaddle, but I didn't link those two together. The art looks...abstract today. Too human to be actual Neopets (except maybe the Buzz).
Intentional or not, this might be my favorite comic too. ^_^

I like this day a lot - both prizes are useful and the 'animation' is sweet. I'm not crazy about washed out colours and lack of outlines but I really like little baby usul and chia.

Bleh
It reminded me of those food banks and charities that make the extra special effort to reach out to the needy during the holidays, and i thought that part was nice.
