Like Ice Boris, Magma pets turn another color in the pound. Red.

Pretty sure you CAN transfer them.

So, transferring should be fine. Pounding isn't.

Initially you could pound them too, but some time yesterday (Dec 16th) TNT changed the rules so that all Magmas that are pounded will now revert to red. They can definitely be transferred safely though, I've just witnessed a transfer of one today (Dec 17th)

Probably a bit. There's always a fire blumaroo avatar to keep them from plummeting too low though.
