Camouflage and Gold Koi

This really illustrates why I don't like the camo--apart from the laziness, I mean. A lot of the camo splotches on the fins just look like they're shading. It doesn't look dark, it looks like a shadow. They put all the dark camo splotches in the recesses of the fins, so it's just another layer of depth to the art. Not actual camouflage patterning. You can barely tell they added splotches to the fins until you look at it next to the regular purple koi.

Gold is less like any previous colour than Camouflage is, it seems.

I can not unsee that koi as having a goatee.

I like both purple and orange better than all the other options above.
