Maractite.. I love it! The design is amazing and shiny *_*, and very glamorous. The usul's marks around the eyes and tail I think are stunning.
The only thing I don't like is the mane.. it stands out with the rest of the body. ^.~
I think it would also be a good color for Geraptiku RP characters and such because of the marks~
Oh, that Maractite is very pretty! Nice idea! I loke the almost-luminescent markings. Yep, I'm also not certain the ruff/mane suits it. It does look convincingly glass or ice-like, if that was the intention then it works. The bigger image may reveal more details.
Sketch is about what I'd expect.

I love the idea of Maractite, but it seems way too crowded. It'd be nice if they cut back on markings a little. I'm glad they didn't do the same thing with the mane, though.
Maractite is one of my favorite things on Neopets, I like the colors and the random swirlies. This is absolutely gorgeous, some of the best renditions of the maractite markings I've seen. They better have a Peophin come out soon and be gorgeous, because I wantwantwantwant.
Or a flotsam, I could repaint my flotsam...
Hell, I kinda want a maractite army, it would be preeetty!
WANT. Well, to be technical, I want a Draik in that color - or possibly a Cybunny - but want. So much. Like Tiel, some of my very favorite things are maractite, and I am so thrilled that pets can come in this color now too. *glee*
I don't think it's too busy at all, because once you slap some clothes on the thing it's going to have most, if not all of the body covered up, and possibly a large portion of the head, depending on which hair you go with. Add a different color's bow to the tail, or just yank it off altogether and yeah, gorgeous color. God, I want one of these.
My favorite part is the ears. Man, those are some amazing swirly things.
OK, yeah, sketch is going to go nearly unnoticed due to an awesome new color. Well, i think they've well made up for that vast lack of new colors over the past few years.
I don't think it's too busy, though i could understand someone wanting a more understated version of it. I like the mass of swirls. I may end up having to get a pet that color if i can.
