Transparent and Checkered Elephantes
Transparent and Checkered Elephantes
Yay, another Transparent pet! I like that they omitted any bones from the trunk (but not the ears - and the wings seem to have quite thick bones too). The bones in the arm show how weird the Elephante's anatomy is, with the hand starting most of the way to the shoulder and no elbow to speak of. It also appears to have a heart bigger than its intestines :-)
Checkered is pleasant enough, I do like the large squares stretched across its belly.

Transparent is interesting, although I don't really like how they handled the wings or ears. The wings actually have thick bones in them? Really? I guess it works if they want to emphasize the fact that wings aren't functional.
Checkered is alright, I figured we would see it this Elephante day. I just don't understand the yellow- it would have worked better with black or a darker grey. I agree with the belly squares- they turned out nicely.

Wow, Checkered surprises me. I loke the yellow "nails".

Neither are showing up as having head-ma-jigs. I wonder what it would look like for Transparent?

Hm! Interesting. I guess the artists forgot as readily as i did that they have head decor, though i suspect it's a glitch. They don't show up in the news pics though.
I like Transparent, though i do find it odd that they keep including bone in the ears. Maybe cartilage counts for "bones" in Transparent...that would be my only logical guess. Either that, or these pets' ears don't move and aren't in dire danger of breakage. Eh, it's a made-up world, and like so many other games i've pretty much given up on Earth logic for them.
