All poses

Meh. I like how there are water droplets flying off it in the hit pose, and I like the beaten pose aside from the stupid bandage (sponges don't need bandages, artists!). I'm not a fan of these non-organic colors, though.

It's pink. Like the aisha. O.o How sad!

It's exactly like the very adorable <a href="http://www.neocolours.me.uk/viewclrs.ph ... pe">sponge aisha</a> in every way, except that it sucks. Because the aisha is so simplistic, the poses are much more believable. The lupe isn't, and it's hard to tell what's three dimensional and what's pasted on even within the same pose. There's also the banage in the beaten pose, which isn't the least bit soggy.

I like how it's all sudsy in the close range and hit poses, but I can't figure out the tail at all. O_o In some poses it seems to be a separate piece of sponge from the body, and in other poses it seems to be "cut" from the same piece of sponge as the rest of the pet. Also, maybe I'm just being stereotypical but pink isn't exactly the first color I would've picked for a Lupe. ;)

The tail thing Saturn described bugs me, too. Ugh, inconsistency.

The bandage looks ridiculous! How could they miss that? I wish they would decide on which parts of the creature are 3D and which ones are not before they make hugely inconsistent colors like this.

My cockatiel has something to say about it, though.

Huh, I guess he likes it. I for one think it is grarkenstompfles, however.

It's alright, but a bit to involved to be sponge. There's just too much going on for it to be translated well to sponge.

And as others have said, why pink? Why not yellow or that deep blue they used on the Blumaroo?

I like the colour... other than that it's not very convincing sponge, is it? I thing this is the worst possible pet for sponge colour shape wise. It shouldn't have been done at all...

Ewwww... it's a completely unconvincing sponge. All the did was take the normal pose and make it thicker and add little holes. Not good at all.

Cry grarkenstompfles, and release the <strike>dogs</strike> wolves of boredom.

Seriously. The tail. The hell is going on there?

I'd garkenwhatever it too, but I'm a sucker for pink. That alone gives it a pass.

GRARKENSTOMPFLES

and it's not even an original grarkenstompfles where I could go, yeah it's crap, but it's not directly ripping off another pet. But said uncreativity is not hypothetical, therefore it gets an F---

That's right bitch, an F minus minus minus.

I...uh...like it *ducks and hides* Maybe it's just cause I've never really properly looked at a lupe and I'm just now realizing how nice their combat poses are.

But I agree that the bandaid is ugh.

Poor Lupes, they have so little colours left to go that they are reduced to a sponge on their pet day. The other colour had better not be custard/biscuit/jelly etc or I'll scream.

I'm hoping to see a nice snow or spotted one to redress the balance here. I don't like sponge pets at all so... *shrugs*

Ugh... Are the legs stuck to the tail or not? They most certainly are in some poses, while in others they obviously aren't... this is a very inconsistant pet. 0.o

On one hand, I can kinda see how it would be tough on them to add the "3D" Sponge thing in the Happy pose for the back legs and still show the tail well, for example, but really, all they'd have to do is reposition the tail a bit to fix that.

The dirt and water is nice in Beaten, and for the most part it's a pretty nice pose... in fact, I could let all the stupid inconsistancies slide for the whole pet if not for the ferkin' bandage. I mean, really. If you're going to bandage a household cleaning item, it should at least be wet/dirty if the rest of it is. Also, the shadow on the bandaged leg appears to have a shadow that conflicts with the other shadows... it's on the left, most of the others are on the right. Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but it just looks odd to me.

I really don't like this pet, but I still wouldn't go as far as GRARKENSTOMPFLES. I'd save that for the real terrors, like what we designed it for: <strike>Grey</strike> Putty Korbat.
