See, the front and back legs are on the same plane of existance (because, dear artist, the sponge is flat.), however, the edging on the side of the front leg places it in front of the back leg.

Instead of being clever like Escher, it looks like it was drawn by a backwards third grader with uncorrected astigmatism and a drinking problem.

THANK YOU!! Someone else sees the problem with this.. the image is all wrong. I personally thing the whole "let's take the normal pose and add an edge" bit is stupid. Look at a well-known somewhat "2D" character: Gumby. *calls upon Wikipedia*

See? Sponge shouldn't remorph to always be flat.. it should flex and fold/bend as a non-fleshy thing should. :mrgreen:
