Wow, a Kyrii color I actually like. I would never have imagined it possible.
They're both excellent, although I like the Royalboy better: better colors, better sad pose, and I like the close range and beaten poses.
I still don't want any -- I don't want a little person-pet -- but for what they are they're very well-done.

Wow....
They're both pretty damn impressive redraws - I think I prefer the Royalgirl, because of the 'handbag' and 'beaten' poses which are hilarious and really nicely thought out. The 'boy is good too, though maybe a little too smug for me to have to look at on a daily basis. 'Sad' is great, as is the glove-thwacking.
Excellent job. If I didn't already have a Royal pet, and maybe had more chance of earning the money, I'd seriously consider getting one of these on my main.

The royalboy reminds me vividly of a friend of mine (it's a good thing), and every time I see it I like it more.
The royalgirl is the opposite - every time I look again, I'm not as crazy about it.
My only real complaint is something I just mentioned to Ty - all of the blues on the royalgirl don't really go, and the colours on the royalboy don't go in the same way, too.
They're all lovely wonderful colours on their own, but mashed all together, it's kind of overwhelming and none really stand out. I'd like to see them with some more contrasting colours thrown in.
They're both very lovely, though, well drawn with amazingly expressed emotions in every pose. I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up getting one.

Wow, I really like these. Now that the character I had planned as a mutant gelert has been axed due to the change of that pet, I have room for exactly one pet, and it looks like I just figured out what that pet will be!
The poses are just splendid, well drawn and utterly hilarious and full of character. What I'm especially pleased about is that both the boy and girl are so awesome. It seems that usually one royal is drastically better than the other, but in this case, they're both just fabulous. I prefer the boy because of his coloring, but the girl is beautiful and has great personality. Kudos to the artist!

Honestly? I mistook them for Gnorbus when I saw them on the news. :o
I admit they're nice, but they don't awe me. <.<; -is confused as to why everyone is so excited- xD
I think I like the royalgirl better. :3 The poses are NICE. Shame the artists don't put this much effort into some of the other pets. :P -coughmutantunicough-

I've been looking forward to the royal kyrii for some time now. However, I suppose my vision of a kimono clad, white furred(is that even a word?) and black haired, samurai and geisha kyrii will have to wait. Now I'll have an even harder time waiting for Shenkuu or wherever to produce a new paint brush.
Mileena's new color checklist:
1. Unique color scheme—This means no copycats of existing colors, especially defaults. I'm talking about you "royal"boy aisha. *glares*
2. Non anthro—Personal bias aside, anthroness alone is not an acceptable replacement for rule one. Kyrii are already bipeds with long flowing hair, and save for giving the girl pornstar breasts or the turning the boy into a roid fiend, my own bias against anthros doesn't apply.
3. Redrawn—Should really not be an issue, but still pops up occasionally.
4. Extras—Creative poses, cool accessories, nice colors.
5. Makes you squee!—Often inappropriately or unsually loud. Bonus points are given if it's around people who have no idea what Neopets are and in turn think you're a nutjob.
I think these are the best matched pair in a while, and I think only the korbats could have been better if the boy had met requirement one.

Wow. I really hate the Royalgirl, but that's my own fault. See, I changed my female Kyrii to a Cybunny after the redraw, cause it just didn't suit her. I was always hoping for a Royalgirl, but eventually gave up and she became a Cybunny. So I got my hopes up far to high for this pet, and it totally failed.
But the Royalboy...
I think I'm in love!

These are probably the only Royals I would ever consider worth the price tag of the Royal pb. Heaps of kudos to the artist!!
These are awsome. I /must/ someday get the RoyalBoy Kyrii.

....Amazing!
The royalgirl close attack pose is creative beyond words, and now it's now my favorite instead of the royalgirl mynci close attack (The pose with her shoe off in her hand). Both are nice, but any art that has a high level of creativity always wins me over in the end.
Now the royalgirl beaten pose.....
.....O_O! *ZOMGITSCREAMSHAUGHTYANDVAINIMUSTOWNITSOMEDAY!*
....That is all.
Now for the royalboy
The colorscheme is a little better than royalgirl, mainly because these colors are stereotypically more effeminate and "girly" but they've managed to make the colors work. He looks quite majestic. This is my favorite pair now because they look like two snobs that have been made for each other. It's only second to the flotsams because the facial expressions on both kyriis says it all.
Seriously, did TNT recruit better artists?
