Neohomes and Gardens guide?

It has tips, a good item database and nice links.
Off course it's only interesting for people who like to neohome, but if you do that, this is the definite guide.

Added, and PPT's forums too. I never believed the cookie grabber nonsense, but the spyware bit was justified, as far as I remember; adaware really hated that site.

Since I completely forgot about it...Subeta links, please? I don't want nearly as many as I have for Neopets, just the best four or so.

http://www.neopets.com/~My_First_Little_Pony is the comprehensive list of games and links to guides for them. I don't know if you want to include that or not, but it is useful.

Subeta- subetadb.com is the obvious one. I've never used any others except that colours site which would be made redundant by ours, so...

Brand new help/info site for Subeta, but looks like it might be very cool: <a href="http://wikibeta.mbif.net/index.php/Main ... kibeta.</a>

Besides the new Wiki, and ColorMe (which we won't need after the site is back up), the only Subeta fansite I use is: http://www.subetadb.com . I'm not really impressed with the others.

I'm a bit biased towards PPT, as it was the first fansite I stumbled across, and the forum there is probably the main reason I decided to stick with Neopets after four months of floundering. The guidance I found there was priceless to a newbie like me.

I don't really browse the site beyond the forum, though, so I have no idea how valid the spyware argument is. I can't see those funny links, either, but maybe I managed to adblock them long ago. :|

I visit PetPetCentral a lot when I'm looking for both petpet and pet colors, but once this site is revived, I don't think linking to PPC will be necessary....

The only Subeta site I visit is SubetaDB. I've never needed to search for an alternate fansite: that place has almost everything I could ever ask for.

The only Subeta site I use as well is Subetadb.com. As for other stuff, all the Neopets sites I use - avatarlog, Neoitems, and Neodaq, mostly - have been mentioned, so I think I'm good. :3

oh- what about the Battlepedia? http://idb.finalhit.org/

Except that we're a) never going to have a petpet database here and b) That site is run by our own lovely Trick and I think 99% of the regulars here use it for their petpet needs :P

This subeta fansite doesn't seem to be too bad: http://mysticalsubeta.info/

I don't visit many neopet fansites, and the ones I peek into sometimes are already listed, I think.

...Whoops. I must have gotten my sites mixed up. I could have sworn NeoColours offered petpet images, too.

I occasionally use http://www.neolodge.com for a generic info/help site. It tends to be fairly well written and its game and plot guides are pretty good.

I never use PPT's main site, but I agree with Wingsrising and Officer 1BDI -- the forums are an excellent place for information. They're always among the first, if not the first, to know how to get a new avatar, or to report on glitches or scams, and they always have great plot threads. I like the idea of linking to the forums.

The only other sites I really use are IDB, Avatarlog, The NCW (though it's strictly for fairly serious battlers), Neoitems, Neodaq, Petpet Central, and that Sunnyneo editorial search (don't use the rest of the site at all). I don't look at Jellyneo much, but their item database seems to rival Neoitems, and unlike that site, it doesn't require registration.

If anyone wants to use neoitems without registering, my account is Madge and my password is cheese.

I just use it for the database :P.

We could have a neocolours account if we really wanted to get away without registering. :P

http://www.billopan.com -- the Neopian Orphanage. Friendlier, more community-building and less pet-elitist than other meta-agencies I've seen. Anyone can apply for a pet, and to display one as being up for adoption you just need to pass a quick test, but they also come down very hard on "fake" adoptees (ie, celebrity pets put up as a joke).

http://www.neopets.com/~stiners_lupe -- nice little Yellow Pages of Neopian information. Updated quite frequently.

http://www.neopets.com/~mymommyspoilsmemore -- my own In Defence of Fostering page. You don't have to put this in if you're going for purely informational links. I only ask that you add it if you're considering linking to any anti-fostering pages, for the sake of balance.
