Avatar/Sig dimentions?
Could someone please remind me of the avatar and sig limits? Even if we go back to the other temp forum, I think it would be good to reestablish those limits that we had on the old forum...lately I've been having to scroll sideways. Not here, but at other forums and I realize how nice it is having av and sig limits. Feel free to debate me on that. *shrug*

I just KNOW you directed that statement to me.AngharadTy wrote:Maybe this time around we can make sticky/announcement posts for av/sig limits and the adoption forum rules. I can do it, but not till later, or someone other mod can do it now.
What about general rules, like "for the love of Bob don't double post, there's an edit button for a reason"? =)

Yes, but here we're using Kamil's bandwidth, which she has to pay for, and is extremely generously sharing with us.Silverevilchao wrote:Yes. I wouldn't have use up bandwidth on my Photobucket account.Vixie. wrote:An “upload image from your machine†option here would be nice too.
Photobucket has tons of bandwidth, for free. Not enough for you? Get an imageshack account, or a second photobucket account or whatever...still free.
Here? Bandwidth not free. Bandwidth generous gift. Play nice with the bandwidth.

You don't even need an imageshack account:

Just upload the image. I have never gone over the bandwidth on an image of mine, and don't expect to unless something unusual happens like I win the userlookup spotlight or something.
I agree that the uploading from computer here should stay turned off; I'm sure the bandwidth from all the avatars is a significant amount for something that's really very minor.

It's that fact that it takes me an eternity to upload on my account (I have around 200 screenies, along with shop and lookup graphics).
