question about an old account

Hi, I was hoping that someone might be able shed some light on this. I've been gone from neopets for a while, and in my return, I have found that one of my two accounts (seldom used) is completely gone. The last I've seen of it would have to be about this time last year.

I know it's far fetched and that the circumstances surrounding said account may be entirely unique, but I thought it was worth it to ask: am I missing something? did something happen?

Maybe they deleted your account, as they do often with accounts that are rotting.

I would think that one year is entirely too early for that though, your circumstance being the obvious reason.

Thanks, that seems to be the case, I guess.
But what I really don't understand is that the other account is just as I left it. Both were untouched for the same amount of time. And the account wasn't used, but it didn't look abandoned, at least I didn't think so.
