And a 96% majority suggested that it was unlikely to change significantly. Trust me, if I thought leaving it open any longer would have actually helped, I would have. The most we've ever had voting in a ban discussion is approximately 120, so assuming all 42 potential missing people would vote in favour of keeping checkers (and statistically, they wouldn't) it would still be a 61% majority.
