Re: Call for help: post-customisation URLs
Just a few mistakes I noticed while admiring the work that was done so far (I'll post more if I notice):
Male Skunk Usul image misses the accessories
Male Ice Usul image misses the accessories
Male Spotted Usul image misses the accessories
Female Orange Usul image misses the accessories
Male RoyalBoy Korbat has the image of orange bruce uploaded
Male Desert Poogle has the grandfathered version uploaded
Male Ice Bruce has the grandfathered version uploaded
EDIT (more spotted):
Male Mutant Hissi has the grandfathered version uploaded
Male and Female Mutant Lupes have grandfathered versions uploaded
Female Mutant Buzz has the grandfathered version uploaded
It's great to see so many of us involved I'm going by species, I find it more fun that way.

Nope, the images all have black backgrounds rather than transparency.
I got a few using view source but it's too much work that way. I guess I'll have to keep my image harvesting to non-work hours.

Oops, male skunk usul was probably me. I forgot they had accessories. There's a reason I set about doing colourfills ;0)

The male desert poogle might have been me; I did a lot of rapid-fire pet adding when I found accounts with backgroundless pets. I didn't even realize that there was a different version!

I uploaded a few snow pets, and was going to upload the male and female snow yurbles when I noticed they looked identical, so that gave me some pause. Do the snow pets not have eyelashes like other colours do?

Re: Call for help: post-customisation URLs
All of the Aishas are now finished except for the crossdressing Royals.
Re: Call for help: post-customisation URLs
The female mutant zafara doesn't seem to have eyelashes either.
Edit: Zafaras are done, except for the male royalgirl.

Brown's done now... I was concentrating on the colours towards the end of the alphabet but came to split and decided it was time to change the pattern.
And then since we only needed another 10 or so to get under the thousand mark I put some in for ghost.

Re: Call for help: post-customisation URLs
Comparing male and female for all the species which have both so far, every single one does have eyelashes/eyelids in the female. However they are reeeeeally subtle on some species (skeith, for example) so would be quite easy to overlook. You have to see them one after another to spot some of them.Madge wrote:I uploaded a few snow pets, and was going to upload the male and female snow yurbles when I noticed they looked identical, so that gave me some pause. Re: Call for help: post-customisation URLs
The easiest thing to check if the eyelashes aren't obvious: if you're uploading both in the same species, even if the pets look identical, the URLs are not. The best example of this is probably the invisible pets, which all have unique URLs despite all being 150x150 blank squares (blech). If the male and female URLs are the same, that means one of the pets isn't the correct gender.
Zebru: thanks! I've deleted all of those.

Re: Call for help: post-customisation URLs
Oh, and a tip for colours like maraquan where it's not always too easy to tell if the pet is grandfathered or not: if you alter the end of the url to 2/2 or 3/2 or whatever and the emotion poses show up, then it is a post-customisation pet. At least, I think I'm right in saying that?

The grey Peophin female is showing as the grandfathered version. It should be mlw2vdsv .

Re: Call for help: post-customisation URLs
Mutants are now done except for the koi, mynci, and skeith females and Invisible is only missing the male koi, male poogle, male uni, male wocky, and female chomby.
...There appears to be some kind of bug where accessories worn by Invisible pets don't show up on the small profile images. It still produces a different URL, though.

Re: Call for help: post-customisation URLs
Aaaand another helpful tip which has helped me out on one or two occasions: if you click on a link from google and discover the pet has changed colour/species/gender, and there are no other undressed ones to try, then search for the pet's name in google. Visit the cached version of the owner's userlookup and hey presto, the species/colour you wanted. Hopefully.
One time I had to use this I ended up very confused though. I was searching for female pets, but the sole female sketch whatever was now male. So I found the cached version of the userprofile. Which had been updated recently enough to show the pet as male, boo. However the picture was still female. It was weird. I cross-checked against the male and everything. Another time the cached userlookup showed the new species (evidently a labrat) however the cached version from www73.neopets.com or whatever was still old.
So it's very handy, all told.

Re: Call for help: post-customisation URLs
Pets so far which look like they might pose a problem:
- most of the crossdressing royals (I'm honestly not too bothered about those, it's just I know they exist)
- Female Checkered Draik (no results)
- Female Orange Krawk (no results)
- Female and Male Plushie Blumaroo (all either unconverted or clothed)
any others?
