Neocolours

It was made more snake-like for this potential revamp and recoloured to not be arid-like anymore. Thoughts?

..Personally I'm happy it got a face change to be more snakey and isn't so short. :x

It's beautiful. Serpenths always looked like winged worms to me, but now they're lovely. Their hair looks so pettable, and I love their coloration - it reminds me a lot of the rosie boa I've got, heh. Their eyes are really pretty too, I'm not sure what about them it is I like but I do. The only thing sort of bothering me here are the random feathers underneath the main wings, but it's not that big a deal since I didn't even notice them the first time around.

I love it, it's wonderful, and looks much more snake like. The hair and wings are really good too, and I like the colour change. The markings are a lovely touch too, I'd get one of these in an instant.

It reminds me of a hissi now. Not that that's a bad thing. Hissies used to be my favorite pet. Only problem I have with it is that the left wing looks sort of odd. Love the new color and markings though.

I love this! Its stunning and I adore the new coloration of it too. It actually has character now, instead of just being a white worm with wings.

The only complaint I have is that the hair just seems a little off to me. I can't quite say why, but I think I'd like it better if it was tweaked somehow. Maybe it should go down abit further on the back, but then it would become a red blob amongst the wings so who knows.
I think I'll have to get one, though lord knows who I'm going to morph.

DNA said she maybe try resizing the wings and moving them a bit, since some people think they're too big. It looks more capeable of flying than the current one though. :P

I... I don't know how I feel about it. I know this sounds silly, but I think it looks too 'real' compared to other pets on Subeta (which is usually a trend with DNA's artwork, but it doesn't really.. work here for me much). The lineart on the face doesn't seem especially clear either, and I think the hair is too much. I mean, the hair always looked ridiculous to me anyway, but now it looks more like human hair than anything else. I'm looking at this and going "Wow, it looks like Gilderoy Lockhart", which probably isn't a good thing.

I think the colors are lovely, however, and the face is beautiful. I seem to be alone in my statements, however, and probably will be, so I'll go sit in the corner xD

I love it. I love the new color scheme and the size of the wings seems fine to me. I like that it has kept its sweet face -- it's still not really all that snakelike, but I liked the old Serpenth's odd face. I am still worried about what will become of the hydrus Serpenth; it was the first pet on Subeta that I really, really wanted and mine was my ... first or second painted pet. I know I mention this every single damn time it comes up, but this is a source of considerable anxiety for me, damn it.

I agree with Jessi - the hair is just too much. Too tousled, curly, etc.

I love the wings, but the base seems to be extremely fluffy for some reason? I like my wings a little more unrealistic and slender, I guess.

I also don't like the feather? that's on the bottom of the wing facing the viewer. It looks extremely misplaced.

Other than that, I quite like it.

I think the eye is a bit poorly defined. It just might because it's a similar color to the body though, but it's hard to tell just where the eyeball is. The two random feathers under the wings are weird too. But on the whole, I like this. The serpenth was actually one of my favorite pets way back when Subeta was starting up.

Ooh, I like it. It reminds me of a Tyrannian Peophin, I used to have one because I liked the colour scheme and the hair and this is almost the same. I may get one if the revamp goes through, but I might feel a bit weird having a Common pet.

The only thing that bothers me is that I think the tail looks weird where it goes behind the wing and comes out the other side. I'm not sure it looks like the same tail.

Not so sure about the placement of the wings. They look a bit too bulky to be able to fly with.
Not a real big fan with the hair and eyes, either. I thought the eyes were white? ...Are they brown?

A very nice pet overall, I think I'll wait for the redraws to decide if I want one or not.

Mmm... I don't really like it, but I also can't really see anything wrong with it. I agree with Jessi in that it looks a but too much like a real snake, which is probably what's throwing me off. I guess I agree with the above in that the eye could use a bit of work, it looks a bit to me like what you'd see in a nightmare pet, and the hair is kinda funky, it's almost too curly and feels like something a Disney prince would have. Again, it's not all together bad, I just have a hard time wrapping my head around it.

Yes, the art is pretty, but it does look too realistic. I think the wings should be a bit higher up and not as fluffy. And what's with the two stray feathers at the base of each wing? Also, I don't like the tongue. It's too thin to be seen well, and kinda looks silly, taking away from any ferocity it might have.

If this goes through I really, really, really hope Darkmatter turns out nicely, since I have one and she's kinda lame-looking right now.

Overall I like it very much, and think it's a huge improvement (although looking at the old one, ANYTHING is an improvement.)

But the hair - God, it looks like someone dumped a bottle of Rogaine on its head. It's just too much - too curly, too female, too much HAIR.
