What dailies is everyone doing these days?

Post by Wingsrising »

I admit I'm getting lazy and want to focus on the dailies that offer the most bang for the buck, so to speak. (I'm also getting sick of clearing endless crap prizes out of my inventory.)

I have to keep doing the deserted tomb because I don't have the avatar yet.

Altador is starting to seem totally pointless, as is omelette, frankly, as I keep my pets in the Neolodge and have hundreds of omelettes already. Lunar Temple has a few rare prizes worth 25k but I can get that by winning 2 2:1s at Food Club and as it's a pain I'm thinking of giving it a rest. And now that I have the avatar, why am I bothering with Wise Old King?

Tombola can give codestones and Scratchcards can give the occasional valuable card. And I'm amused by the new jellies these days. Those can stay for the moment. Ditto fruit machine (though really, I've gotten only 1 PB out of it in 5 years!)

The scarab game is of course good because it can give NC.

Fishing is my least favorite daily but because of the small chance of very good prizes, I persist.

And of course, I buy stocks and check out Food Club every day.

Which dailies do y'all think are worth doing or skipping?

I got sucked into AvatarStarried a while back, and now I'm pleased that they got it running again! *yays for their site admin!*

Here's my list:

Neopet News
Bank
Lab Ray (on hold for now)
Petpet Lab (also on hold)
Meteor Crash
Tombola
Fruit Machine
Coltzans Shrine
Wheel of Mediocrity
Giant Omelette
Giant Jelly
Guess the Weight
Symol Hole
Buried Treasure
Krawk Island - Food Club
Altador Plot: Council Chamber
Lunar Temple
Snowager
Winter Kiosk
Wheel of Excitement
Healing Springs
Test Your Strength
Neopian Lottery
Stock Market

And I also play Whack-a-Kass and Meerca Chase, sometimes do other stuff. I might add more sometime, but most stuff anymore I don't do because I'm too lazy to bother.

I'm far too lazy to do all of the dailies, I do;

Tombola, because of the codestone potential

Coltzan, because you can get doubloons

Fruit Machine, because of paint brushes (although I've never gotten one)

Fishing, there's always a chance of getting something rare, if your pet has a high fishing level

I used to do the Scarab game, but I'm so lazy now I just buy my NC :P

Then of course lab, food club, stocks and bank

I don't bother with any dailies you have to pay for, like the wheels for example, because there's a chance I'll loose money. I'd do Lunar Temple, but it's a bit of a chore, so I don't bother. I also don't do Omelette or Giant Jelly, because my pets are in the neolodge anyway.

I play Kass Basher daily though ^^ quick 3000np

Tombola
Deserted Tomb
Tiki Tour( I take my pets everyday)
Wheel of Excitement
Healing Springs
Coltzans Shrine (stat raises)
Fruit Machine
Buried Treasure
Test Your Strength
Deserted Fairground Scratchcard
Omelette
Jelly
Dice A Roo ( I play if the jackpot is over 5K)
Merry Go Round ( my pets ride everyday)

I don't bother with the Symol Hole and Snowager because I have the avatars.

My list of dailies is pretty generic because I just go in a circle on the map. That being said, though, here's what I do:

Tombola
Deserted Tomb
Buried Treasure
Wheel of Excitement
Healing Springs
Coltzan's Shrine
Fruit Machine
Fishing

Then I of course go check out my stocks and buy new ones. I would play the expel game but I just forget about it all the time, heh.

Lab ray zapping.

...That's really it. :/ Subeta's kind of taken over my interest in pet sites ATM.

Fruit Machine (I got a shadow pb not long ago), Coltzan's Shrine (even though my pet's 2,888 days old, he still gets stat increases a lot), Grumpy Old King (need that avatar, grrrrr), Tombola and Geraptiku's Deserted Tomb (I like the occasional free codestones), Test Your Strength (I got a gold trophy a while back), Healing Springs... and of course the moneymakers, Food Club and the Stock Market (and collecting bank interest). And I zap a pet on my side. That's it, I think.

Tombola & Deserted Tomb
Fruit Machine & Coltzan
Wheel of Knowledge (still need the av and get the occasional intelligence point) & Wise Old King (still need the av)
Fishing several times a day
Buried Treasure several times a day, even though I already have the av
Test Your Strength 2-3 times a day (I've won a Halloween Paint brush in the past)
Snowy 2-3 times a day (still need the av) & scratchcards, now that they're back :D
Expellibox - I have it as a favorite on my games page, which usually reminds me to play it.
Giant Jelly when I remember
Lab Ray
Stocks

In addition, I also try Grumpy Old King on the first day or two of the month, hoping for a trophy.

Coltzan (for dubloons)
Fruit Machine

Deserted Tomb
The assorted Wheels, sometimes, but I always do Excitement
Healing Springs, if needed
Fishing

The others I do if I remember, but usually not.

What I always do:

Lab
Stock Market (buy 1000 of something that's at 15 or 16, sell something that's gone up more than 400%)
Bank Interest
News
and, currently, Yooyuball (5-ish games)

What I sometimes do but should really do every day:

Quasalan Expellibox
Food Club
Feed My Pets

My choice of dailies is heavily influenced by apathy- I have a lot of "trivial amount of tracepoints for one click" things on my list. They may not be worth much alone, but over time they add up. I also don't really ever use the NeoLodge, so I also tend to go for things which often give food items (or cheap junk which can serve as food items for my skeith).

Bank Interest
Monthly Freebies and Advent Calendar, when applicable
Altador
Tombola
Giant Jelly
Deserted Tomb
Wheel of Monotony, Knowledge, and occasionally Mediocrity
Fishing (I've snagged some extremely valuable items there from time to time, including a Mysterious Swirly Potion)
Expellibox
Fruit Machine
Coltzan's Shrine
Lab Ray and Petpet Lab Ray
Fashion Fever
"Hidden Neopoints" clicks
Wheel of Slime (Playable three times a day, and in my experience the average payout is better than other Wheels)
Adver-Video (Free np for ignoring commercials while I do something in another tab. Totally worth the non-effort.)

If I've got a little bit of free time, I hit some of my favorite games and check the Sponsored section. Personality quizzes and "crowd patrol"-type games usually have a decent payout for the minimal time investment they require.

*laughs* I have to deal with that as well. Since the site revamp, my pets look sad since they are dying on me, so I have to feed them . . . ruddy site revamp. :<

Anyway - Lab Ray, Pet Lab Ray, Stocks. I may do the other dailies if I feel like it, but I always do the first three every day. :D

That's why I keep fishing, though I'm still waiting to catch a good item, with my pet around 330 skill level.

And I guess I also play a few flash games when ACIII isn't going on.
And I occasionally adopt and zap a pet.
Oh and Kitchen Quests when I have time too, and sometimes jobs.

I'm going to stop before I remember something else.
