Neocolours

The news section of the site has been not as active as we want it to be over the last few months, and so we want to recruit some more news posters to help address this. If you would like to apply to write news articles about new Neopets colours, then here's how:

-Pick one pet from each of the lists A and B below, making sure to choose ones no one else has already taken.
-Post on this topic which pets you've chosen.
- PM your choices in advance to votecollection, and we'll cross them off this list.
-Write (separate) posts for each pet, and PM them to votecollection.
Don't post your reviews or initial choices here on this topic!

A few tips for the reviews:
- look at the style of previous news posts. We don't want everyone to write exactly the same way and some variety is good, but we also don't want wildly differing styles either.
- be constructive with criticism and try to pinpoint what it is that you don't like about a pet.
- if you can, point out both positives and negatives.
- if you want to make comparisons with other pets, then it's best if they are relevant and specific.

(btw, we've changed the process a little to allow for anonymousness - re-read it!).

I won't be able to get to these descriptions until next week at the earliest (damn coursework), but I'm still interested in participating. How soon do you want the news posts?
