I don't believe they STILL haven't been able to call Indiana...

So sad that Obama's grandmother didn't live to see it, though. :-(

Go Barry! I knew he had it in him. :3

Now, I have to go finish the English essay I've been putting off to watch the election.

I know. -_-

I am so very, very happy that he won, though.

...

Ditto, Joey.

I'm watching Obama's speech now! Ahhhhhhh, I'm so excited. I wish I was feeling better so I could be out celebrating with friends instead of sitting at home with my mom, who's been reading Consumer Reports for the last two hours.

Hell yes!

Though I have to say his speech so far isn't working for me as a whole. It has quite a few good points through out the whole thing, but for the first 5 minutes I was "Wh.. you're completely missing the point!". And towards the end... he sounded a bit like a pastor in a church skirting on utopia (Chekhov's concept of people growing as a whole with time always irked me).

Of two minds here. Definitely better than the alternative though.

Wow. Just... wow. He is an amazing speaker. I was crying during that speech.

And North Carolina still hasn't said who they're voting for!! Gah!

Really? I loved the speech... man, that guy can speak.

I guess it's time to head to bed now... I'd love to stay up and obsessively read more news sites, but I have to teach at 9am tomorrow.

I know! 4 1/2 hours later and with 89% precincts in and Missouri is too close to call :P BUT I don't care!! Yayyy, my vote went to a WINNER!!

Prop 8 is losing by about 300k votes with 13% in. :(

Um, yay? XD I'm way too tired for this. I'll have to celebrate the Obamaness tomorrow because it'll probably be the main topic in class.

And I feel sorry for all those people who stood out in the cold for hours to hear that speech. It was a full 18 minutes long. I'm glad I'm at home.

And I'm disappointed about Indiana, too. I wanna know what we as a majority voted. :( Guess I'll have to look it up tomorrow. Dad says we're probably the precinct slowing everything down, seeing as the majority of the state is red and we vote blue.

WOO OBAMA!

And decriminalization passed in Massachusetts. Possession of an ounce or less is now a civil charge carrying a fine of $150.
