Tarla: WATCH OUT!

So us Firefoxlings have been toolbar-less ever since FF3 came out, right? And I know a lot of IE users don't have it either. For many of us, that means watching the Neoboards for a "Tarla's here!" board and clicking as fast as we can. Well, I'm sorry to have to tell you that we need to be a little bit more cautious now.

After their "genius" plan of advertising "2000 free NC" failed, a group of scammers has gone for something distinctly more devious: disguising an offsite link as a Tarla drop link on the boards. The HC currently looks like a bomb has gone off. I obviously haven't clicked the link, so I don't know what kind of scam site it is, but the message seems to be that we should steer well clear.

So heads up: always be careful of what you're clicking. Or use the NC's "Tarla's Giveaways" board and avoid the Neoboards altogether.

There is a toolbar link thing for FF3, it's not the official toolbar but it works the same. I prefer it because it takes up less space.
