So it seems there's a new celebration in town This one is a masquerade ball and you have to wear a masquerade mask to dance. Dancing, if the person accepts, nets you some Trinkets that you can spend in the new Lounge or Menagerie depending on what type you get. And holy crap there is a ton of really really gorgeous items!

Dancing seems to work much like biting did: You invite someone to dance via the forums and if they accept you get Trinkets and can go to a dance hall map with strange floating HAs around you.

Seems like fun

Haha! This is pretty cool. I quiet like this. I have plenty of masks to choose from, I'm a big of a mask whore. XD So of course I need all the new masks that are in the special shop. Damn I shall be dancing for awhile. There are sooooo many nice things in those shops. Sooo many things I need!
Right now I made my character Daray to go to the party. He sure sticks out like a sore thumb. Heh! I even went and posted in the forums so I could earn trinkets faster. I'm a brave one. XD I like the little dance floor you get to go too. It's so pretty. The HA that appears there uses the enamored expression to give you guys a heads up.

Okay, I guess I won't sleep tonight.

I'm curious if there's a trick to getting Steamworks Trinkets. I've hardly gotten any of them - I keep getting lounge ones.

I've gotten widely varied waiting times. 10-20 seems average.
Can you not invite people not wearing masks?

Oops sorry to invite without posting - I just clicked on it to see how long my wait would be. It seems I didn't have any wait that time.

Moonsyne, my guess is that it is a bug at the moment with the tickets being spent in the wrong shops. I'm just gonna hoard mine for now and see what happens with it. I hope this event lasts for a while, there is so much stuff I need from the Menagerie, but first I need to get all the amazing drink items from the Lounge!
