Updated to here. And yes - the NC Mall previews should be possible to get at. I haven't actually tried it, but I'm fairly certain they'll have to be.

OK you've inspired me to get my lupe clothes up. It's so cool to see "my" pet on the thing!

This is going to be the most awesome thing ever. All it needs is someone to code up a shiny interface for it and it would beat the pants off everything else that we've seen, right?

I may be wrong but it *seems* the best way to find this sort of thing for the first bunch of items that load (i.e. the ones that load with the pet) is to copy all the URLs, put them into a post, preview it, and then view the .swf files to see what they are. If there's a better way, let me know, somebody

Also, you can obviously get these swfs by looking a pet up as well as going to the customize page; meaning that in later stages it'll be easy to add missing pets just by finding one example (there are petpage directories that do this so yay).

Also, is there a way to have a list of the pets you've already got? It might be a good idea to put this together before we give you too many pets so that way we know which species/colours are still missing.

Updated to here to varii's last post with pets (except for the Tyrannian Lupe, who is missing his mane - come to think of it, the Fire Ruki is missing antennae). Clothing will probably not get put up until this weekend or so - finals are coming up. Keep submitting stuff, guys, you've all been great!

(On another note - Madge, when you say "shiny interface", do you just mean converting it into something other than black-twelve-point-Times-New-Roman-on-a-white-background, or are there specific issues with the functionality that should be addressed?)

Edit: Good idea; I'll add that to the first post.
Also, you're right about those lookups - I hadn't thought of that! Since options aren't limited to pets and clothes you own, then, I'd like to suggest a method for posts from now on, for those who've got the time: Pick one species, do your best to find a happy pet in as many colors of that species as you can (both genders optional) - try googling "site:neopets.com 'the [color] [species]', (fe)male", or use a directory - and give the swfs for those alphabetically. That would make it much easier on me when I'm adding them.

. The functionality is fine, the only thing would be to divide items up by zones, but I think that is a given.

Of course, a quick look at the Acara directories show that not all of them are complete, but things like Draiks and Krawks and Lupes oh my god Lupes should be well and truly full.

Big update! Clothing is now sorted by zones; worn clothes and trinkets show up in bold so that they're easier to find; and backgrounds, background items, and foreground items are now working, which means I... can... go and add all of those now. 8D; Thanks for all of your help and suggestions, guys; you've all been awesome. Keep it up!

EDIT: In addition, there is a shoutbox now. This is useful if you're like me, and won't submit comments or bug reports if it involves anything as arduous as navigating to another page. Also, backgrounds and trinkets are going up.

Busy adding the backlog of backgrounds and trinkets people have submitted. Just a quick question, for anyone who knows - how many layers are there for foreground items? TDN just gives everything as 'Foreground Item', but I thought there were 'Higher' and 'Lower' layers too. Are all three used, or what?
