The Priggle!

Post by TCStarwind »

I would guess this is the right place to put this? If not, you moddly people may move it. 8D

Meet the priggle. ZOMGITSSOCUTE. I may need like 500 of them. Too bad I have no money for extra pet slots. :< A glade priggle would make a perfect Shaymin.

Rest of the colors (spoiler'd so I don't kill connections and whatnot, and hey, there's a lot of cuteness behind this tag):

It's cute, but I don't particularly like it. -shrug- Dunno why, just... don't like it.

It's cute, but the art looks a little dated.

I think it's adorable. Great job, Lindsey! Cream is my favorite -- I like how the eyes are the only bit of blue. I can't wait to see the redraw colors. :)

I don't think the art looks dated at all! It's very shiny and beautifully shaded! They're so, so, SO cute! I adore hedgies, and I've never seen a pet site with a hedgie pet before xD Cream is my favorite too, Cranberry, I love the colors!

And the cleverness of the tail on Nuclear is awesome:

Eh. It could have been worse. But I don't find hedgehog/porcupine/raccoon animals terribly exciting. The name makes me thing of Pringles and giggles. Mmm.

When I saw the title, I was going to roll my eyes and say, "ANOTHER new pet?"

But that's actually quite cute. :-)

I'm not sure about the name, though.

At first look I thought that it was a Terracoon revamp XD I echo all the "cute!" comments - it is very nicely drawn, and I may need one ^^

. . . I wish that all Terracoons were deleted and replaced with this, actually. Terracoon = raccoon pet. Priggle = raccoon/hedgehog pet. It seems redundant.
My computer is connected to the internet and the internet contains everything in the whole wide world ever. I don't know about you but I sometimes find everything in the whole wide world ever a bit distracting.

So freaking adorable!! I'm excited to see a new pet, especially one as lovely as this.
I really really love how soft Lindsey made the quills look, I want one in real life for a pillow. Possibly my favorite part though are the pudgy legs and masked face. The tail on Nuclear is so clever!

I think Jeremy will have to be this once elixirs come out and I can get my hands on one. Been getting bored with him being an Angelic Ontra as I just can't think of a character for him as such, and this seems like a great change. Common is possibly my favorite of the lot right now though, I love the browns with those red eyes. Field and Marsh are tempting too though.
Wanna donate towards my drink gallery, the Golden Goblet.

This doesn't look anything like a Terracoon, though?

Really... the only thing they have in common is they both are brown. I guess that they both have masks over their face, but the Terracoon is obviously meant to be a raccoon mask, and I think the Priggle resembles a badger more than a raccoon. But the Terracoon is a fuzzy, stumpy little furball and this is... well, a hedgehog.

I mean, by that logic, a LOT of pets shouldn't be pets because they're 'redundant'. But I'm sure there's tons of people who love Terracoons and not Priggles, and vice versa - and tons of people who love both.

The Priggle was actually based off of a hedgehog and a badger, mainly. And like... some made up parts.

BADGER.

Also, I... don't think the Priggle looks like a Terracoon at all? The masks on the faces don't even look similar :|

That said, I reeeeally like hedgehogs and I am so happy that I was able to make this pet <3! I am excited to do more colors for it :D

Quick question also, I'm trying to use a dusk potion on my priggle but I keep getting an invalid combination error O.o

Is that just a glitch possibly or is anyone else having a similar problem?

My first thought when I saw this was 'armadillo'. ¬_¬ Though I had just got in from work when I saw it.

Anyway, I like this. It's not the sort of pet I'd own, but it's cute and the redraw possibilities could be interesting. I'm not a big fan of many of the base colours, except for Twilight and Nuclear, for whatever reason- they're just not clicking for me. Scribble is adorable, though..
