Hydrus Swampie and Wyllop revamps

I'm a little confused by why people seem to want shiny hydrus pets. None of them are wet, and most aren't even in swimming poses.

When I think of Hydrus pets I think of underwater creatures personally, so it made sense for them to be wet. ^^

I think they should all look wet and be in swimming poses. It agree that it makes sense, especially because the original swampie is nicely shiny, but mostly I think everything should be shiny.

The spikes looked better coming from the tail. :/

And yeah, Hydrus = water pet, so being shiny here wouldn't be totally out of place. I think they should all have swimming poses too, and I'm really disappointed that they don't. We need another water-type color then, something that IS swimming.

I don't necessarily think of them all as swimming. My hydrus kanis is a sea creature, but I think of her as being on the ocean floor, kind of skulking around.

I always imagined them as sulking around in the ocean while waiting for Merana to send them out to do her dirty work. After all, Merana lives in the sea wouldn't her slaves do the same? I also consider quite a few of the pets (both older and new) in a swimming position, or like Bon said, sulking around on the ocean floor. *Shrug*

I think, in my mind, the intention is for them to go places she can't, since she's bound to the islands.
