Lennies
Each of these Lennies is based on a real bird- the Red-tailed Hawk, California Quail, Peacock, Vulture, Flamingo, Macaw and Fish Crow.
Colours
Baby pets
Most baby pets are just a cuter, smaller version of the standard pet, but the Baby Nimmo and Baby Pteri are a tadpole and an egg respectively.
Desert pets
These desert pets are based on figures from Egyptian mythology- Set, Hathor and Anubis.
Halloween pets
These Halloween pets are all based on site characters- Count Von Roo, Zombom, Dr Sloth, the Snowbeast, the Nightsteed, and the Tax Beast.
Maraquan pets
These maraquan pets are based on the following sea creatures: Octopus, Seahorse, Lobster, Shark, Anglerfish, Coral, Manta ray, Sea lion, Puffer fish (see the deflated beaten pose), Sea turtle and Chromodoris lochi.
Spotted/Striped pets
These pets are all based on real life animals- the Dalmatian, the Fresian or Holstein cow, the Koi (probably the Sanke), the cheetah, the African wild dog, the chipmunk, the leopard seal and the spotted owl.
Tyrannian pets
These Tyrannian pets are all based on extinct animals- an Ankylosaur, a Microceratus, a wooly mammoth, a Smilodon and a Spinosaurus.
Individual pets
Christmas Pteri
The Christmas Pteri, rather than being candy-cane striped or having reindeer prongs attached, is based on the European Robin. They are often seen around Christmas and are frequently featured on Christmas cards.
Glowing Buzz
The Glowing Buzz glows like a firefly in its pre-Customisation version, in contrast to most Glowing pets. The current version looks like a normal Glowing pet.
Halloween Cybunny
The Halloween Cybunny is based on Bunnicula, and in the beaten pose can be seen shrinking away from the light, like a vampire.
Halloween Lupe
The Halloween Lupe in the Beaten pose is turning back from a werewolf into a Lupe, like a werewolf turns back into a man.
Relic Korbat
The Relic Korbat is based on a gargoyle.
Relic Lenny
The Relic Lenny has its tail feathers replaced by flowers.
Robot Nimmo
In the unconverted version of this pet, the emoticon on the Nimmo's chest display changed with the pet's emotions.
Starry Korbat
The Starry Korbat is the only Korbat to hang upside down in the circle pose.
Toy Vandagyre
The Toy Vandagyre is based on a Furby.
Woodland Scorchio
The Woodland Scorchio is based on the rainbow eucalyptus.
Wraith Usul
The Wraith Usul has yellow eyes to match the Shadow Usul site character.
