Re: Who still plays? It's so different!
It's tragic, of course, what customization did to the neopets art--I miss all of the different poses!--but I actually kind of enjoy it, at least in theory. I would never consider spending real money on the site even if I weren't well below the poverty level currently; I have a difficult enough time ...

Who still plays? It's so different!
Sooo I am working on massive term papers and two internships and dealing with my fiance's mom's life-threatening tuberculosis (so nineteenth century) and my own family's drama and moving apartments in a month and trying to find a job and get my graduate school applications sorted out so obviously th...

Re: Historical Atebus Revolution
I have, for some reason, many more steamworks trinkets than lounge ones--I've only gotten 4 of the latter and 10 of the former. Which sort of sucks, because I want the immediate gratification of a pretty mojito while I try to figure out which steamworks items I need the most.

Re: Human avatars
When I stopped by subeta briefly today (I'm having moments of lucidity among moments of insanity--at least, that's what my illness feels like), I thought that you looked like Yansa. And you do. Good going! You have on idea how happy that makes me! I was pretty pleased with the av version of her and...

Re: Historical Atebus Revolution
That dress is gooorgeous. I am fraught with indecision as I also need all of the alcoholic drinks for Sot's treasure but I also love and adore steampunk more than even zombies. The art on everything looks delicious and makes me want to have a cocktail right now. My dance link is: http://www.subeta.n...

Re: Human avatars
I sacrificed zombiefication because I wanted to make avatar versions of my pets--you know, the same thing everyone else was doing at least a year ago. Yes, I'm a big slow to take up a fad. I'm pretty happy with the avatar version of Yansa: http://images.subeta.net/pets/montre_hydrus.gif http://www.s...

Where is the reading drive located on the site? I went to the reading contest--y'know, where the last one took place--and it says that the contest is over...

Re: Two day site rollback
I just played a bit of subeta yesterday or the day before after literally months away. Didn't do anything particularly earthshaking, so it's not like a rollback affects me much, but I cannot help but eyeroll and sigh a little to find something like this going on as soon as I return after a four-mont...

Re: Possible New Aerie
And I have other complaints, but they're already mentioned. Except one. It's poo colored. That is exactly what I thought. They've got the entire spectrum of "baby poo" covered in just one pet--impressive, almost, if looking at it didn't give me flashbacks to diaper changing days... The &q...

Re: New Emperiment 3485
I don't usually care for pets at all, and only have one. But I want this, a lot. It sucks that the only way to the get is really expensive and/or time consuming. No happy squid for me :( Hmm, I don't find it particularly expensive or time-consuming to zap--a half dozen wizard quests a day (ten minu...

Re: Possible New Serpenth
I am really shocked that they let a pet with such drastic line art inconsistency go through as the final revamp, as that usually seems to me something they are more attentive to. It's so glaring! And distracting! And completely unacceptable, thus exiling the serpenth to the list of pets I would neve...
Re: Giveaway
What galls me is the duplicity that that news comment reveals. On one hand, in the news posts all around that one, they're all solicitous and stroking, like, "tell us what you want! we love you! users are the heart and soul of subeta and you guys are the best!" and then when (yeah, admitte...

Eniada, dark matter sheeta, female. Grimspine, graveyard bovyne, male. smail me (rather than PM--I might not get it) if you're interested; only problem is I am online rather sporadically & can't remember how subeta transfers work. Will drop them in the pound in a few days probably if nobody's in...

Re: Spectrum Lain
I can't even look at it in its upside-down version. My eyes cross and skim and it becomes an annoying blur of very thin lines, only vaguely avian. Which is annoying, because it isn't bad otherwise (which is the highest grudging compliment I would have given--I usually [disappointingly] dislike the l...

Cannibalist the #810
I know these aren't all that rare or exciting, but I think the name is funny with the colour.. I'll abandon her in a few days if no one bites.
