Re: Site issues and upgrades thread

Wings,

Neither Jazzy nor I are subeta players, so bear with us - is the change simply http://www.subeta.org/imageblahblahblah to http://www.subeta.ws/imageblahblahblah?

If not, you'll need to give me a bit more info as to how subeta has changed their image URLs.

Thanks!

Re: Neocolours hosting donations thread

Larkspurlane, I don't know why it's complaining about my email address - we never had any problems before. PM me your email address linked to your paypal account, and I'll issue an invoice to you instead.

Site issues and upgrades thread

Ok, as well as asking for money, I know something ought to be given back in return, so here's a thread for all of you to contribute to. If you have noticed any bugs on the site, have any improvements to suggest (however mundane or radical) Jazzy is still notionally on hiatus, so I'll collect these r...

Neocolours hosting donations thread

Hi guys, I'm afraid it's that time again! (and I don't asking any more than you like being asked :P) For the last year, Neocolours has been hosted on a communally-funded account, notionally in my name. The first funding drive was relatively successful (and a big thank you to all who initially donate...

TL;DR : Issues fixed, use whatever URL you want. TS;WTRM : Dear Valued Customer, We had a network issue with the webforwarding server, which has been fixed already. Issues fixed now, panic over. [Was: WARNING: Do *not* use...

Hi guys, TL;DR : DON'T visit the site through Neocolours.eu or Neocolours.org.uk until I (and only I, in case someone is trying to be clever and evil here) give the OK again. Use Neocolours.me.uk, which is the main domain for the site. Techy bits go here : It seems that somewhere along the way, Neoc...

Re: Piercings! Specifically, help me out with them!

I give blood. I don't give it as often as I could, which is bad (admittedly my job's stopped me for this last few months, both in transatlantic travel and inability to get to donating sessions). The UK system is split into three regions, so last time I gave blood last month, and again next time once...

Re: What music are you into?

You might be interested to see the NC group on Last.fm, here: http://www.last.fm/group/Neocolours+FM

I'm pretty easy-going with music, only a few things that I won't listen to :) Have a look at my list through the group if you want a better idea.

Re: Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog

I saw this on slashdot at work today (I work hard, me), and I might have forgotten about it this afternoon  Therefore, much win to you for the heads-up! Edit: Damn you slashdot! The main site where you can watch it is currently a smouldering pile of charred metal: http://doctorhorrible.net/int...

Re: Spore!!

Madge - I've no idea why it's asking for that, nor of any specific way to stop it asking. My generic advice, which will hopefully work... (and I really hope you're not on dial up): - install the latest drivers for your OS/video card from www.nvidia.com - install all the updates for your computer fro...

Re: Spore!!

Spore (well, the creature creator) does not need DirectX 10 to work - I just got back from visiting my girlfriend, who bought it (n my credit card :( ) and it runs fine on XP/DX9. Admittedly that's on a reasonable graphics card (NVidia 6600) rather than onboard intel graphics. That said, the Sims se...
