Re: Help us fill the pet db! (Royal pets neeeded, pg5!)
Hmm yeah your eyrie does have the same problem! That's really odd, and completely bizarre, you'd've think the cpn thing which normally fixes the cog should fix this.
Or perhaps the hash table has multiple species that go to the same place. If that's so, I think we have just discovered something REVOLUTIONARY in computer science. I think two things that go to the same hash is meant to be really aweosme, right? Or is that just with password hashes?

Re: Help us fill the pet db! (Royal pets neeeded, pg5!)
An update on how this is getting on:
A few of us have made really good progress in filling the database, and we're now done with all the straightforward pets. I've taken a copy of all the images we have so far (my computer says 15,700 items) and now the ones that are left are difficult pets. There are two categories, really: cross-gender royals, and very new pets.
I'm going to post the list here in the hope that people who have these pets will help us complete them. As I said here, you do not need to convert a Royal pet in order to get the URL we need. I can confirm this: I got the female royalboy shoyru and female usukiboy usul from my two UC pets. You also do not have to keep it as a cross-gender pet. All you need is to have a male royalboy of a species we need, and have some sort of access to the Lab Scientist BD challenger.
We really need people's help with this. You can help either by providing the URL yourself, or offering up a space on an account with the Lab Scientist BD challenger to change the gender of someone else's pet.
Here's the list (37 pets remaining):
New pets:
camouflage grarrl - female
checkered eyrie - female
halloween skeith - female
snot grarrl - female
Cross-gender royals:
quigukiboy quiggle - female
royalboy acara - female
royalboy aisha - female
royalboy blumaroo - female
royalboy bruce - female
royalboy chomby - female
royalboy cybunny - female
royalboy elephante - female

royalboy grundo - female
royalboy ixi - female

royalboy koi - female
royalboy korbat - female
royalboy kougra - female
royalboy krawk - female
royalboy kyrii - female

royalboy scorchio - female
royalboy skeith - female
royalboy wocky - female
royalboy yurble - female
royalgirl jubjub - male

If anyone has any of these pets, please post here so they can be added. We've only got 44 pets left in total, so we should be able to do this!

Re: Help us fill the pet db! (Last few pets needed, pg6!)
I have an extra space on mare2, which has the lab and the lab ray scientist, and I don't really need that pet slot, so it is available if you need it.
PS Your pets scare me a little bit EofS, how did you end up with two crazy pets? I can't imagine there are that many wonky combo's!

Thank you! Madge, are you happy to send your chomby to Marah? We do still need the male royalgirl chomby.

They scare me too! Especially when I forget that it's happened and then catch sight of them on a userlookup. One day I'll fix them (and, for that matter, fix the remaining cogs I have here and there) but until then, I get to giggle at the combinations.Marah wrote:PS Your pets scare me a little bit EofS, how did you end up with two crazy pets? Okay, Abeigh is currently male. If I look on the pet lookup you can see he now has green eyes. But when I look on my userlookup he (she?) still has the purple eyes. So the code I submitted showed the royalgirl male chomby as a female still.
I made a screencap: http://i330.photobucket.com/albums/l409 ... abeigh.jpg
purples eyes in one picture and green in the other. so, Help? Any-one know where to get the right code?

I think if you apply something like a background and take it off again, it should make the correct version display. It works to get rid of cogs, so it might work to update the eyes.
Re: Help us fill the pet db! (Last few pets needed, pg6!)
Perfect! That would make the new code mrkx27jk. Can you change that Jazzy (I'm sorry I already submitted the wrong code, I didn't realize it was the wrong picture)
If everything is okay I can go and battle the lab ray scientist again.

Teehee! Abeigh as a boy makes me think ever so much of a drag queen. It's really a very drag queen outfit, isn't it?
Re: Help us fill the pet db! (Last few pets needed, pg6!)
Is the christmas gnorbu missing, I can't find it on Neocolours.
Anyway, if it is I have a female christmas gnorbu (lasylama) on my side faerietalefeather. If you need it for numbers and codes and stuff. I wanted to steal the ribbon for my own gnorbu but unfortunately it can't be taken off

Yes, you're right - I'm not sure how we've missed it, but we did. Thank you very much for pointing it out! I've used your gnorbu's URL to add it to the db, so it now shows up as an individual pet, and in the correct place in the list of pets by date released.

Ooh, thank you! These last pets are so hard to find, so any new ones are very welcome
