Hydrus Ghostly
I really REALLY like this ghostly a lot. JUST LOOK AT THOSE TEETH, if the revamped graveyard one isn't
as amazing as this then i'm changing mine to hydrus, I love it that much <33. I love what they did with the
edges of it's body. Love the horns, though the only thing that feels a bit odd is the fin
on the back, reguardless I love it.
I really don't have any other complaints, overall it's a great updated hydrus pet c:

Re: Hydrus Ghostly
That ghostly is AMAZING. Its body looks like kelp fronds (or whatever underwater plant that has leaves like that). The fin on the back is kinda weird, but I can live with that because the rest of it is SUPERBLY AWESOME. 8D
Re: Hydrus Ghostly
It's pretty nice for a revamp. My only complaint is that it's left hand--our right-- looks pasted on. I'm having a hard time seeing where the shoulder and arm meet. But other than that, not bad. I like the fact that the X was removed and the eye is the blue little gem on it's face. I'm not crazy for Ghostlies (Ghostlys?) but I don't really hate them, so I'm kind of neutral.

Aww, I liked the ridged horns and the beaded-looking trailed markings, but the new one is still fabulous!! Look at all that detail!

Re: Hydrus Ghostly
I prefer the horn style of the first one, but otherwise this is a pretty nice revamp.
Pyro - I see what you mean about the arm, but once I looked closer it makes more sense. The details and colours make the arm get kind of lost in there.

Re: Hydrus Ghostly
Hm. The horns are very plain, but I suppose it matches the claws. And I wonder why it doesn't have an X under its little gem setting, but it is striking that way. The fin seems completely unnecessary, just filling space, but it is a nice-looking fin. So I guess my overall impression is "buh, weird... but nice?"

Re: Hydrus Ghostly
The gem is nice and I really like how the claws were handled. I'm not a fan of how long the right half of his dress/skirt/sheet/whateverthatthingis is though. It would look very strange standing straight.
But it's a nice revamp overall and the quality is good. So yay for this revamp.

Loving it overall. The look on its face, the pose, the gem, the colors (the subtle hint of green at the edge of its body!!!), everything! A great revamp.

Re: Hydrus Ghostly
I'm not a ghostly fan but I have to say this is nice. A big improvement from the old one. The bottom bothers me. It looks lop sided with so much floating to the one side. And I also like the horns of the old one better, the new ones are just plain. Other then that it's good. I really like the way the design is designed.

Re: Hydrus Ghostly
I feel like if it stood up straight, one half of it's "skirt" would be much much longer than the other.
I would've liked to have see something interesting done with the jabot too, maybe a green leafy bit of kelp. Seems like a wasted opportunity that it appears totally plain. And aren't hydrus horns traditionally ridged? It seems strange that these ones aren't.
Still better Hydrus pets in the sea, and I never was a ghostly fan. Thinking on it, I'm surprised they haven't been renamed to something more creative though.

I love the gem on the forehead. It looks very shiny and attractive. The horns are also very cool. Even the edge of the cloak was done well. It does have a few weak points but over all it is very nice
