Eeehee, it looks like it's a logic puzzle! The kind you solve with grids to figure out who did what when and how. There's four clues as of now, and you get bitty items and (of course) an NC Mall extra puzzle item for getting them.

I love these things! And Jellyneo already has a square for you to put the thingies into yourself. I'm hoping it's different for everyone and not just the same because that wouldn't be fun.
Re: Desert Diplomacy (plot/event/puzzle)
I love logic puzzles! But I don't like the clue a day thing. That is annoying.
I think it is the same for everyone, but jellyneo seems to leave you unspoiled.
Right now I have 7 crosses, bring on the next clue

I'm definitely in favour of more clues. I can understand drawing it out, but even so...

Re: Desert Diplomacy (plot/event/puzzle)
Does anyone want to try and work it out here?
Faster than a speeding cheeseburger, but not by much.
Re: Desert Diplomacy (plot/event/puzzle)
So anyone else kept trying and retrying to fit all the clues in the five guild grid?
I remade the puzzle several times getting a bit frustrated at my inabillity to make all the clues fit untill the new clue came out and a new line got added to the grid. I thought it was a bit low. I'm sure TNT was laughing at us

Yeah, I did. The only options beforehand were human error, two guilds stealing at the same time, and some unknown time. At least this clears up when Pocket Chess was stolen...Marah wrote:So anyone else kept trying and retrying to fit all the clues in the five guild grid?

Re: Desert Diplomacy (plot/event/puzzle)
I had three guild/item/time/method combos totally worked out, so I was not entirely amused. My grid looks much sparser now I've had to start again. Booo TNT, booo. Not nice changing the goalposts like that!

A friend of mine is calling shenanigans on them not even hinting there were more than five until now.EofS wrote:I had three guild/item/time/method combos totally worked out, so I was not entirely amused. Also, a number of mine are somewhat full. I can tell you what I have if you want, though it's probably going to be the same.

Aw, I feel so behind haha. I guess I'm not as good as I used to be.

Well, this new development clears up the contradiction that had been there with clue 6 before.

And I come out of hiding to say that this started right when I was having way too much busy fun visiting home in Tennessee. I'm back in California now, sigh. But I do love a logic type puzzle, so hopefully I won't make myself feel bad for not being able to figure it all out. I'm trying to plot it out on a spreadsheet.

JellyNeo has a nice one.Fjorab_Teke wrote:And I come out of hiding to say that this started right when I was having way too much busy fun visiting home in Tennessee. I'm back in California now, sigh. Thanks. I had read about that, but I always feel a little "cheaty" using someone else's. It looks nice and user-friendly, though.

It is very nice and easy to use, but if you feel better doing it on your own that's cool too.Fjorab_Teke wrote:Thanks. I had read about that, but I always feel a little "cheaty" using someone else's. It looks nice and user-friendly, though.
