I have one new message but I can't seem to access it! I keep getting an "Unknown Folder" message... Can you try again?Cranberry wrote:That sounds good! I sent you a screenshot of my chart.

That allowed me to finish my chart (thanks!) but I still have the problem of the final clue not working. I must have mixed something up somewhere.

I sent another note telling you where our charts differ, but don't open it if you want to work it out on your own first!Cranberry wrote:That allowed me to finish my chart (thanks!) but I still have the problem of the final clue not working. I must have mixed something up somewhere.

Re: Desert Diplomacy (plot/event/puzzle)
I got mine last night after some work thanks to the help on the boards regarding the time clues. The exercise reminded me of all the tests I was made to do when I was younger to establish that I did indeed have some sort of Learning Difficulty (it was never acted on since I did just fine at school -_-). I seem to recall some sort of similar, but far easier, logic puzzle that I had to work out in 10 minutes. Never did finish it :p.

Re: Desert Diplomacy (plot/event/puzzle)
I answered the questions rather easily but I wanted to fill out the whole grid to see if I could. I did, but then I realized some things conflicted and said screw it and gave up

Nothing conflicts. If you want, I can PM you how it can be solved.Silver Link wrote:I answered the questions rather easily but I wanted to fill out the whole grid to see if I could. I did, but then I realized some things conflicted and said screw it and gave up

Re: Desert Diplomacy (plot/event/puzzle)
lol, from the way I did it things conflicted. I ended up going directly against this clue: The Grand Speech Scroll was either stolen at 4:00 a.m. or via the sewers. After filling everything out, my grid told me that it was stolen at both 4 AM and via the sewers
You don't need to PM me, thanks. I'll either give another go at it or just say whatever and let it be

Re: Desert Diplomacy (plot/event/puzzle)
I stayed up a little too late working it out last night. And then found a Google cache version of a Reddit post that had the answers, so I could confirm. x) So assuming that person didn't make the same mistakes I did, I think I'm good.
I admit that I did guess at one point, I tried some of the "this or this" clues until it went through clear, which fortunately was only two guesses in. I just couldn't get my brain to parse the times in a way that seemed legit.

I got a rock.EofS wrote:How did people do?
Actually, I got them all correct but apparently the only extra you get (as opposed to only getting one correct) was a new wearable. I suppose they think it's compensated for with the daily prizes and mall tie-in but really I'm not overly pleased.

Re: Desert Diplomacy (plot/event/puzzle)
I got all the prizes.
I'm fine with what we got. It was a 2 week mini-event. It amused me that so many people were expecting like site themes and 50% all species healers. I guess I am surprised by no avvie, but, whatever.

Re: Desert Diplomacy (plot/event/puzzle)
I'm ok with what I got considering it's a mini-plot that almost everyone would get right anyway. I'm not going to complain about a new healing item, even if it is limited use, and some of the items look really nice .
