Leaving off the stringy tips of the gelert's ears/tail makes the relic look a lot more real. I love the cracks and gashes over the body. The eyes have a bit too much gleam to them, but that's a minor criticism on a good pet.
Water's frothy tips are a neat idea, but they kind of look like beads. And not beads of water. Good attempt, and I like the body's coloring a whole lot. Overall it's good, but I think it just barely missed the mark for me on the thin tips.

I love what they've done with the Relic, the only thing that doesn't look quite right to me is its left front leg - that cracks near the paw looks a bit too big for the whole thing still to be standing upright. But, yeah, that's a good 'un!

Wow...these are both really awesome, actually. The effects on the Water one are really three-dimensional looking, and the Relic is so beautifully broken.
