Um, yay?
I think I like it, but can't for the life of me recall exactly what it looked like before. Was it always this cheerful?
tiny modedit for easier comparison purposes, since I can't be the only one scrolling up and down like a crazy thing now that there's a picture of the old one to hand.

The original had more of a smirk on its face.
It doesn't look too bad. I was kind of surprised by it and am curious as to what prompted it, other than the art was rather flat and out dated in comparison to some of the other pets.
I'm a bit worried too, seeing as I just recently made Nessendrea spectrum...as long as they don't change that one too drastically I don't mind the new look.
Edited to add: Ya know, it's head doesn't look big enough for both horns.

I thought its nose was pointier. It seems more blunt here. I'm not sure that's a bad thing, just something I noticed. I am not fond of its poof of head-hair; it is a bit on the froofy side.
Those are minor things, though. Its eyes are adorable, and its wings are just lovely and shiny, and I had no idea it was quite that furry! I really like it; not enough to have one of the basic colorfills, but whatever redraws get revamped could be very, very good. (Angelic needs to be redone; obviously, galactic won't be. Reborn had better be; I could go either way on DM and spectrum.)
Ooooh, the twilight one has wonderful shading.

I am amused that most of the complaints about the revamp are complaining about traits that already existed (odd wing/paw placement, odd anatomy, squared muzzle, furriness, large eyes).
I don't like it enough to own one, but it doesn't offend my senses, either. I think it probably could've been done better if Chimera hadn't tried to hard to "live up" to the old one. A different pose might've done wonders for the pet, as proved by the Galactic.
EDIT :: the artist is getting really snippy with the critics... IMO, if there wasn't going to be a poll option, comments shouldn't've been allowed either.

I... blah. I always assumed it was a reptile? Guess not. ._.
The mouth bothers me a lot, but the wings are nice and so is the shading. Really, I don't think it's good enough to make Dragarth Elixirs go up in price much more, though.

Edit: oh wait, I still had a pic in the cache:

I never cared for Dragarths before, but I'm disappointed in how this revamp completely altered their personality. It used to look rowdy and mischievous, and now it's all fuzzy and goofy-sweet... like something out of Dragon Tales. I can see this Dragarth dancing in a flowery meadow singing spanish songs about morals with some hispanic kids already. Generally not a good sign.

I actually said 'ugh' when I looked at it =/ I'm not that fond of the face at all.. the crooked little smile it has doesn't seem to match its personality, and I hate the way its little tuft of hair falls between its eyes now.
I don't have a dragarth, but I always -liked- them, and darkmatter dragarths are one of my favorite pets on the site. I don't think it's bad, but I think it could have been done far better.
