Re: Glade Pets!
I was waiting for these to come out ever since I saw the news post with the journal <333
these are GORGEOUS DDDD8 words cannot express how much I LOVE this color HOLY CRAP *-*
All the little details just blow me away, and I agree with people that the Chai and Kanis
are by far my fav ones of this batch 8DDD I love the antlephore too though the butterfly is
a bit distracting having it planted right on it's face XD but I love the pose and ground texture
regardless :3
I KNOW WHAT I'M SPENDING MY MONEY ON LOL Fantastic work to the artists <3333

Re: Glade Pets!
These are beautiful! I love this colour, I'm gonna need one very very soon! The Chai is my favorite out of this batch, though the other two are cool as well. I can't wait to see some of the other species!
Re: Glade Pets!
The only upsetting things is that I dislike all of these species. But, I am very excited to know it's out there and eventually they'll come round to some of my favorites. I've always liked this theme.
Although, I was thoroughly freaked out by the news that some guy inhaled a tree seedling and it grew in his lungs. I'm almost positive it's a hoax now. Then I was reminded of those trees in the Coldfire Trilogy where the roots would grow into your body if you sat under them too long. And...and now the idea of half plant half animal creatures is suddenly terrifying for me. But, I digress.

Re: Glade Pets!
I'd like to believe the tree-in-lung story is true... it's almost charming, in a way. Like believing when you were young that if you swallow a watermelon seed, a watermelon will grow in your belly. Plus, the picture in this article looks sort of cool: http://mosnews.com/weird/2009/04/13/firtree/
Let me, uhhh, regress?
I'm loving all these pets so far, the artwork is outstanding. Definitely looking forward to what other Glade pets may show up in the next few days... and now all I can think of is a pet inhaling a fir bud and having it take over its body. Oi.

Re: Glade Pets!
I cannot WAIT for the Celinox, omg.
These are SO CUTE and well designed! After having lots of angry or mean looking pets released, it's fun to see some cuties again. C:

I actually "squeed" out loud for the very first time in my life when these loaded on the news page!
I can't wait to see more species! Especially ones like the Torrent - I wonder/hope that they will have aquatic plants!!![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

I'm not sure whether to make a new thread for these or not.
We got the Kumos, Ontra, and Lain now.

New batch ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Kumos, Ontra, and Lain.
The Kumos is adorable in every sense of the word. I love the big violet eyes and the simplicity of the pet compared to the other Glades, as the Kumos is a simple pet to begin with. Lain is amazing too, I love its' tail and the pretty pretty flowers on the back.
Ontra is also very lovely, though my least favorite of this batch. The tail turned into leaves is very cute!

Re: Glade Pets!
These are just beautiful! I was so excited at the prospect of getting plant pets and had started planning on which pet I would be rid of to make room for one. They do not disappoint. The colours, the poses, all the little details are all great. I can't wait to see other pets in this colour. This shall probably become one of my favorite colours if it keeps up the coolness. Cookies to all the artist for a job well done!
Add on: And just as I finish my post they go and add more pets. XD I'm totally in love with the kumos and lain! I love the post the kumos was given and the meek expression on it's face. The shading of the fur is lovely as well. The lain is beautiful. I love the way the flowers decorate the wings and just how pretty the wings look. It's just, wow. This is one I'm considering on getting but I'll wait to see what other pets come out. The ontra is nice, I like what they did with the tail. And the shading is quiet nice too. But I'm not really a fan of ontras so it doesn't really do much for me.

New pets:

None of the first batch quite did it for me, but these three are all amazing, especially the Lain. The kumos' neck seems a little funny. Also, I maintain that the plural should be kumoi, not kumi. Still: gorgeous.

Re: Glade Pets!
I agree with Twofold - the first batch was beautiful but none of them really hit me. The Kumos and the Lain here, however, are absolutely gorgeous - this is the first Lain i've really, really liked (besides Glacier, I guess). I love how its feathers look like a veil flowing behind it, and the flowers on its back are really lovely.
My only problem with the Kumos is it looks like its leaning a bit too far to the left (our left), and that it's going to fall over any minute. The ontra looks kind of weird to me - its legs don't look quite natural somehow, I'm not sure what it is. It looks like it's sitting very uncomfortably, squatting instead of sitting.. it's kind of awkward. The leafy tail is lovely, however.

Re: Glade Pets!
I think the Lain is at its best when its wings are folded. This one and Glacier look lush in a way that (aside from being terribly appropriate here) I'm not sure is really achievable on a bird with its wings spread.Jessibean wrote:this is the first Lain i've really, really liked (besides Glacier, I guess).

Re: Glade Pets!
I'm actually a little disappointed with the Ontra; I thought it was going to be covered in algae and seaweed and coral and the like. It makes me wonder whats going to be done with the Tutani.
They're all gorgeous pets, though; the Kanis is still my favorite of the lot. For now I'm holding out for the Celinox.

Oh goodness that Kumos is beautiful. *___*
I'm a huge sucker for Kumoses (Kumoi?) when they have meaningful expressions. Sooo pretty. ♥

Re: Glade Pets!
Another lovely batch!
The Kumos is gorgeous, I've never really seen the appeal of Kumos' but this one is gorgeous, the shading is lovely, it looks so soft and furry! Those big, purple eyes are really nice too.
The Ontra is also very nice, lovely shading and a very sweet pose and expression. I'm not overly keen on the leaf tail but otherwise it's great.
I've never been a fan of Lains but this one is beautiful, I love how detailed it is with all of the flowers in its feathers, very nice!
