Hydrus Aeanoid

*stares in awe*

I love, pretty much everything about this pet. For reals.

Things I especially like are its gorgeous blue eyes, its zillions of tiny suckers, its beautiful webbing, its stars on its chubby belly, and its wonderful "come closer, so that I can nom you up" expression.

*kicks at broken garden* Work, dammits. I want one of these.

Not that I have any idea who I'll change, but it'll be someone.

DO WANT.

Ditto to every wonderful feature you mentioned Kamil!

Just look at those suckers!

However, as with many of the Aeanoid, I don't like how the hands/leaves are completely different from the body. I understand the concept, that they are the leaves and therefore, on a normal plant, would be a different colour. But it just never seems to work for the Aeanoid.

Look at the wittle stars!^_^

That eye is hypnotic...

eh, I must be weird, because I don't like it a whole lot.

I think it's a little too busy - i don't know where to look first, and I don't really consider that a good thing. I'm having trouble 'focusing' on the pet, so to speak. I like all the parts; the sea stars, the octopus tentacles, the seaweed arms, etc, but I think combining them all onto one pet is a little too much.

It looks, to me, like the eye is made out of water and the pinkish bits is some kind of brain. Unintentionally creepy.

I like it a lot, but I still don't think I have the perfect colours for my Aeanoids. I'm mostly waiting on Spectrum and Dark Matter anyway.

It is very busy, but it's very cool as well. I love all the little details and shading. This is now probably my favorite aeanoid color, expecially considering that I don't like them very much. :D

It's awesome.

I like the tentacles but I find the stars rather jarring and I agree: I don't like the fact that the hands don't match the body.

Dracaena has been transformed into a Hydrus pet!

Suits me just fine while I continue to half-ass my way towards an Angelic Potion for Drac :D

I always dislike Aeanoid hands so I like that they're a different color - I can almost overlook them. Other than that I like the stars and I think the eyes are my favorite detail.

I for one actually like the hands being a different color. It breaks the monotony of brown that it would otherwise have if that splash of color wasn't there. It is the starfish that bother me the most, they look a little strange to me. Otherwise though, I like it. I think that other than angelic, this is the only aenoid that I would ever consider owning.

I also like the hands, as long as I think of them as seaweed or kelp. I love the eyes, but I think the style used for most hydrus eyes is fantastic anyway. I do think there are too many starsfish. I'd prefer one where the belly button would be...on a mammal that doesn't lay eggs. Carebear style!

This is a really pretty and detailed pet! I have no interest in owning one, but the art is fantastic. The eye is the best part IMO. It looks like a cool blue patch of ocean that is hiding a terrible, terrible thing below its surface. I have not a single complaint on this one other than it is an Aeanoid :/
